Let’s be real:
Training your dog shouldn’t feel like a full-time job. That’s where we come in.
You drop off your pup. We do the heavy lifting.
You get back a dog who actually listens — not just when it’s convenient, but all the time.
We are located in Duanesburg, NY
I have been handling and training dogs on a professional level since 2010. On top of this I am also a Certified Dog Trainer who never stops continuing education and attendances of seminars and collaborations among peers. The Kinetic K9 is a limited liability company (LLC) & is fully insured and protected. Want to know more? Check out the Meet your Trainer page.
My goal is for you to feel confident and supported every step of the way. If you’re not happy, we’ll work together until you are.
Dogs are not robots, it would be unethical to guarantee your dog will be perfect (no one can), but I can guarantee you’ll feel confident, informed, and equipped with the right tools. You will see DRAMATIC changes in your dog.
If not, we’ll fix it.
Depending on the duration of your dogs stay your dog will learn:
BASIC ON & OFF LEASH OBEDIENCE:
HOUSEHOLD FUNDAMENTALS:
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION:
The number of weeks needed is determined by your training goals, expectations, & of course your dogs need depending on the severity of issues involved. We will help you pick a package or game plan that best suits you and your dog. If your dog needs longer each additional week can be purchased.
Additional weeks can be added if we feel your dog would benefit from a longer program.
Absolutely! You will never feel like you’re alone. Included in the program you get the following support,
Because it’s so neutral, mild, and involves very little mechanical mastery, modern e-collar training allows for the very best communication and transferring of skills from trainer to owner. While many are concerned that the dog is being “shocked” into listening, the truth is, contemporary, high-end e-collars are based on the same technology as TENS machines used for physical therapy in humans. Which means, your dog feels a mild, benign sensation that is not harming to them mentally or physically. Amazingly, most dogs work at levels that most humans often can’t even feel. In addition, the e-collar enables many challenging issues (reactivity on walks, jumping, barking, stealing food) to be resolved quickly and easily. It’s also the ONLY way to safely have your dog off-leash and maintain reliability. The ability to recall your dog back to you, even at great distances, is something unavailable with any other tool.
All major payment methods are accepted. The program fees can be paid anytime, but are due the day of drop off.
Card payments have a 3% surcharge for processing — cash, check, or venmo has no additional fees.
If you cannot afford up-front costs, we offer a buy now pay later option through our booking link that allows you to finance 0% interest through Affirm, AfterPay or Klarna. Some clients qualify for PayPal's Credit program - which allows for easy loans with zero interest if paid within the allotted time.
Always remember at the end of the day it is an investment.
What I can teach you & your dog (who remember, will be in your life for 10-15 years) can literally change your lives.
Built into our pricing is the ability to fully serve you as a client by giving you and your dog enough time, resources, education, ability to truly follow up and reach out on your progress and deliver you the dog you’ve always wanted.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer multi-dog discounts on our training programs. Successful training for a multi-dog household is significantly more work than training for just one dog. Not only do we need to train them to work individually, but we also need to ensure they know how to work together as a unit adding a lot more steps to the process.

Encouraged:
Please give 2-3 week grace period for vaccines before starting a board & train program.
There’s very few cases where we won’t take a dog for behavior issues. We accept all dogs 16 weeks and older. Dogs must have required vaccinations or you are not eligible for the program. Dogs who are going to be going through their heat cycle are asked to wait until the end of the cycle to do board and trains.
We are working hard to fundamentally make changes in your dog’s state of mind and behavior and a visit with you when your dog isn’t quite ready could set the training back. There is a reason board and train works so well: the dog is removed from their old environment and is able to start fresh. However in some cases dogs who are doing extremely well can go home on certain weekends for some practice with you as the owners hands on to see where we need to clean some things up. Some owners can also participate in off property lessons during your dogs program as well. This is something that is a case by case basis
Absolutely — your dog will definitely remember you! Dogs have an incredible memory, especially when it comes to the people they love. During board and train, your dog will be learning new skills and building confidence, but their bond with you remains strong. When you reunite, they’ll be excited to see you — and with our training, they’ll be ready to show off everything they’ve learned. We also make sure to involve you in the final steps of the training process, so the transition home is smooth and your relationship stays even stronger.
Safety of your dog is our #1 priority. We set proactive things set in place such as -
Yes if your dog has already been through a program package with us and things get off course, hectic, life happens, etc and you need a refresher for your dog we run a 7 day program for your pup for $750
On the bottom of this page we have both a video tour and plenty of photos! Since we operate this out of our home, we do not do traditional meet and greets or tours. We also have dogs in training at any given time with various issues from fear to aggression who may not be ready yet for strangers walking past them. When your dog gets dropped off for a program, you will be able to see the training yard and see where your dog is staying. Our indoor training space is a little more than 425 square feet; so what you see images really is all there is to it!
